Tirohanga Camp is the ideal facility and location for any groups like Youth Groups, Sports Teams, School Outings and Camps and Special Celebrations looking for a peaceful space to explore, unwind and enjoy all the activities on offer at Tirohanga Camp and surrounding areas.
Accommodation
Tirohanga Camp has accommodation for approximately 83 people, in dormitory style cabins. There are two caravan/motorhome connection points and space for tents if required.
Accommodation is provided in 15 rooms on bunks with foam rubber mattresses. Five of the cabins have ensuite toilets. Camp users will need to bring pillows, bedding and ablution needs, including toilet paper.
Here is a summary of the various sleeping arrangements across our cabins:
3 x cabins with four bunks
1 x cabin with three bunks and connects to Main Hallʼs veranda
4 x cabins have three bunks and has ensuite toilets
1 x cabin with a lounge, two bunks, one single bed and has mobility access and toilet
3 x cabins with two bunks
3 x cabins with two bunks; one regular bunk and one bunk with a double bed on as the bottom bunk (e.g. family rooms).
Cabins 1, 2, 4 and 5
Each of these cabins have 3 bunks (sleeps 6 people) and an ensuite toilet.
Cabin 3
This cabin has 3 bunks (sleeps 6 people). Access from the Hallʼs veranda.
Cabin 6
(Mobility Access)
This cabin has 2 bunks and 1 single bed (sleeps 5 people). Cabin 6 has a small lounge, an ensuite toilet, and mobility access.
Cabins 7, 8 and 9
Each of these cabins have 4 bunks (sleeps 8 people).
Cabins 10, 11 and 12
(Family Rooms)
Each of these cabins have 2 bunks, one regular bunk and another with a double bed as the bottom bunk (sleeps 4 people or 5 people when two people share the double).
Cabins 13, 14 and 15
These cabins have 2 bunks (sleeps 4 people).
